THE PLASTIC ORGASM (2018)
The Plastic Orgasm is a multi - disciplinary performance incorporating theatre, dance, performance art and live punk music, investigating representations of female sexuality in pornography.
Part performance event and part social practice, this new work reimagines The Plastic Orgasm 2017 as a community performance event. Directed by Julia Croft and Virginia Frankovich and performed by Aiwa Pooamorn, Ana Corbett, Astric Ebner, Amanda Tito, Bryony Skillington, Elyssia Ra’nee Wilson-Heti, Emma Newborn, Hannah Kelly, Jordyn Ellish, Katie Burson, Kayleigh Haworth, Lizzie Morris, Nilima Chowdhury, Rachael Longshaw-Park, Sara Cowdell, Tatum Warren-Ngata and Victoria Abbott.
The Plastic Orgasm was performed in March 2018 at LOT 23, in Eden Terrace, Auckland as part of the Auckland Fringe Festival.
